The iconic pizzeria in West Haven is temporarily closed after a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus, the owners announced.
WEST HAVEN, CT — Zuppardi's Apizza in West Haven is temporarily closed after a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus, the owners announced Thursday.
The owners said the iconic pizzeria, located at 179 Union Ave., would be temporarily closed for a deep cleaning.
“Yesterday, we found out that one of our non-customer facing staff members tested positive for COVID,” the owners wrote in a post on Facebook. “Out of an abundance of caution, we decided to close yesterday (Wednesday), and we will also close today (Thursday) to conduct deep cleaning. We will be open again on Friday.
