Chris Bart-Williams Is The City Of Coral Gable's New Director Of Coaching For Soccer

The soccer program continues to be one of the most popular activities offered at the the War Memorial Youth Center. Because of this, the City is pleased to welcome Chris Bart-Williams as the new Director of Coaching for Soccer.

Bart-Williams has extensive soccer experience. Originally from Sierra Leone, he grew up in North London and represented his school, borough, county and England at the youth level playing both defense and midfield. He went on to play for England’s under 21 team and trained with the senior squad.

Previously, he was an assistant coach for SoccerPlus Connecticut, a team in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), as well as for the men’s soccer team at Quinnipiac University.

"Soccer is one of our most popular programs,” said Fred Couceyro, Director of Community Recreation. “We are delighted to have someone of Chris’ caliber join our team and help our City’s youth develop their skills.”
