We get it, we love online shopping too! But let's make sure we recycle those cardboard boxes properly. Please cut up or fold your cardboard into manageable pieces and place them inside or next to your red bin. Carboard cannot be placed out in the swale. Recycling cardboard properly keeps our community clean, preserves valuable landfill space and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Recycling clean and dry cardboard also helps keep sanitation costs low. Fun fact: the City pays more to throw it away than to recycle it. Thank you for helping create a more sustainable City Beautiful. To request additional free red recycling bins, call 305-460-5346.
