As of June 1, South Florida has officially entered the 2021 Hurricane season and it's time to get prepared!

A few ways to ensure you're ready for a potential storm is to:

  • Create a family emergency plan. Talk about what you plan to do before, during, and after the hurricane.
  • Prepare a hurricane supply kit. Your kit should include emergency supplies such as seven days worth of non-perishable food, water, a first aid kit, a battery powered flashlight, and more.
  • Check on the status of your shutters, impact windows etc. Make sure everything is in order to avoid last-minute emergencies.
