Girls Welcome to BSA

Join South Florida's Oldest Active Cub Scout Pack

Do you know a mighty girl that would love to be a lion, tiger, or bear? Do you know a girl that wants to build and race pinewood derby cars and design and send rockets to the moon? Cub Scout Pack 7 is welcoming girls age 5 to 10 into its dens this September. So, come join the fun, every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm to 7:30pm starting September 5, 2018 at 1107 S Greenway Drive in Coral Gables. Register with the pack and participate in family camping in exciting locations such as the Florida Keys and the Everglades. Here, the scouts, both girls and boys, will build character and learn survival skills, with plenty of fun and games mixed in.

Since 1922, when George Merrick donated a log cabin to the Boy Scouts on the Granada golf course, Troop 7, and later Pack 7, have been using outdoor time and fun activities to teach life skills and leadership. This year the Boy Scouts of America are extending their membership across their programs to invite girls to enjoy the same character building activities, with the same recognition and awards. Our Pack, Troop, and Crew are excited to welcome girl members who can’t wait to have fun and learn the values and leadership of Scouts BSA.

In February, Scouts BSA will also welcome girls ages 11 to 17 to join a troop where they will learn through doing, life and survival skills in a fun outdoor environment. If you have even older girls, the BSA Venture program has always included membership for both girls and boys ages 14 to 21. Come visit us on any Wednesday evening starting in the new school year to fill out an application or to learn about the program. To get on our mailing list send an email to GirlsAtPack7@gmail.com.
