Tropical Storm Watch Issued For Coral Gables

July 30, 2020

As of 5pm, the National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for most of Florida’s southeast coast, which includes Coral Gables. As a result:

• All parks and recreational facilities will close on Friday, July 31st at 8pm
• Do not place additional landscape trimmings in the swale area. There will be no extra landscape debris pickups added to the regular schedule.

The City of Coral Gables will continue to monitor the path of Tropical Storm Isaias. If you haven’t done so yet, it’s time to finalize your storm plans. For more information and a checklist, download the City’s Special Hurricane Preparedness Guide HERE.
