University Of Miami Student Death: Man Sought For Questioning
Miami-Dade police released a sketch of a man wanted for questioning in connection with a University of Miami student's death.

CORAL GABLES, FL — As the University of Miami community gathered Tuesday to remember the life of 23-year-old Yasser Talal Ibrahim Abualfaraj, police released a sketch of a man wanted for questioning in connection with the student's death. The third-year architecture student was found dead at his Coral Gables apartment on Sunday afternoon in the 6500 block of Santona Street.
"The individual pictured was seen in the area of 6580 Santona Street (Santona Condominium) in the early morning hours of the incident date and is wanted for questioning only," according to Detective Chris Thomas of the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Police said that the man was involved in a "suspcious incident."
A university spokesperson told Patch that students and faculty planned to gather at 7 p.m Tuesday outside the architecture school for a vigil.

"The university is deeply saddened by this tragic news, and has made grief counselors and support staff available to the UM community through the Counseling Center, which can be reached at 305-284-5511, and University chaplains through the Dean of Students Office," according to university officials.
