University of Miami Student Found Dead
Homicide detectives are attempting to piece together what led to the death of 23-year-old Yasser Talal Ibrahim Abualfaraj.

CORAL GABLES, FL — Miami-Dade homicide detectives are attempting to piece together what led to the death of a 23-year-old man identified as a University of Miami student. Yasser Talal Ibrahim Abualfaraj was found dead Sunday afternoon in his Coral Gables apartment in the 6500 block of Santona Street.
A statement from the university said that Abualfaraj was a third-year architecture student who lived in an off-campus apartment.

"The university is deeply saddened by this tragic news, and has made grief counselors and support staff available to the UM community through the Counseling Center, which can be reached at 305-284-5511, and University chaplains through the Dean of Students Office," university officials said.
The statement added that school officials are working closely with law enforcement to help with the investigation.
