World Stroke Day is observed each year on Oct. 29. The goal of this day is to raise awareness for the prevention and treatment of this serious condition to ensure better care and support for survivors. In last week’s Commission meeting, Mayor Raúl Valdés-Fauli highlighted the innovative Telemedicine program that our City has implemented to help people when they are experiencing a stroke. The City Beautiful has the only program of its kind in Miami-Dade County. To view a video with more details about our telemedicine program, please visit: https://youtu.be/aKIXgbQD-sw
