Thursday is Last Day for City Food Drive
A city official said 650 pounds of donated food items was dropped off at St. Vincent DePaul Society's Food Pantry early last week. The citywide food drive ends Thursday.

The city dropped off 650 pounds of non-perishable food donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry early last week.
The citywide food drive ends Dec. 20.
All donations of imperishable food items, gift cards or unwrapped toys may be dropped off in the lobby at City Hall. All donations will be given to the St. Vincent DePaul Society's Food Pantry at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

City Hall is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Last year, the city collected 1,844 pounds of food, $100 in Publix gift cards, $399 in monetary contributions, and four boxes of toys under "The Giving Tree."
