Deputy K9 Unit Snags Accused Vehicle Burglar
Brenden Patrick Biggers is accused of entering multiple vehicles in an attempt to steal money in the Ravenwood Manor area of Dunedin late Friday, authorities report.

A Dunedin man is accused of entering several unlocked vehicles for money to steal in Ravenwood Manor late Friday, authorities report.
Witnesses report seeing Brenden Patrick Biggers, 20, of 1550 Rebecca Ln., approach several vehicles parked outside between 10:50 and 11:05 p.m.
A timeline of witness accounts put Biggers traveling on foot, north to south, looking for unlocked vehicles. He was witnessed entering or attempting to enter vehicles on the 2100 block of Santa Paula Drive, the 1900 block of Laurelwood Lane, the 1800 block of Sourwood Boulevard and the 1900 block of Briarwood Street, according to Pinellas County arrest records.

Deputies responded to a call at 11:02 p.m. from a witness watching the would-be burglar as he attempted to enter a tan Buick. The door was locked, so he tried another vehicle, arrest records say.
At 11:04 p.m., Biggers was observed entering a silver 2010 Honda van through an unlocked driver's side door. Biggers became aware of deputies in the area and fled on foot. He was located by a Pinellas County Sheriff's K9 unit, according to arrest records.

Sheriffs deputies say after Biggers was issued his Miranda rights, he told authorities that he he was looking for money.
Biggers is charged with three felony counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, and one count of attempted burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.
He was released on $20,000 bond.
