Dunedin Man Pawned Stepmother's Jewelry, Authorities Say
Nathan Christopher Williams, 20, was arrested and charged with felony grand theft Dec. 3 for allegedly pawning his stepmother's heirloom jewelry, authorities say.

A Dunedin man is in Pinellas County Sheriff's custody for allegedly pawning his stepmother's jewelry, authorities say.
Nathan Christopher Williams, 20, of the 1500 block of Amberlea Drive, took several pieces of jewelry while visiting his father and stepmother's home on Sept. 30 and Nov. 30, Pinellas County Sheriff's arrest records indicate.
He admitted to taking jewelry, which inlcuded cherished family heirlooms, from his stepmother's jewelry box inside her bedroom and pawning all but one of the pieces, authorities report.

The jewelry's estimated total value was more than $4,000, according to arrest records.
Deputies believe the thefts may be drug related.

The jewelry cannot be recoverable.
Williams was arrested and charged Dec. 3 with felony grand theft and dealing in stolen property. He is awaiting trial at Pinellas County Jail on bond.
