Clearwater Fire and Rescue officials are investigating a fire at a condominium at 2087 Edgewater Drive that displaced three people early Monday morning.

Clearwater Fire and Rescue officials are investigating a fire at an Edgewater Drive condominium that displaced three people early Monday morning.
Flames were shooting 15 feet from the roof of a two-story condo at 2087 Edgewater Drive when firefighters were called out to the scene at 12:24 a.m.
Firefighters from four fire engines, two fire trucks, two rescue vehicles and a squad vehicle worked for 30 minutes to put out the blaze.

The damage estimate still is unknown.
"The fire appears to have originated in the attic over the end unit on the north side of the building," Elizabeth Watts, public safety spokeswoman, said in a release. "The cause of the fire is under investigation."
