His remains are due to arrive Monday, March 25 in Tampa around 10:30 a.m. He then will be escorted by Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies on a more than 30-mile route to Curlew Hills Memory Garden, passing a community gathering outside his alma mater Dunedin High along Pinehurst Road. He will also be escorted in a horse-drawn caisson on Wednesday from the funeral home to his final resting place at Dunedin Cemetery.

Drivers:
If you are driving and encounter a police escort for a fallen soldier, turn on your headlights, pull over and get out of your car. If you are wearing a hat, you should take it off. Stand at attention and place your hand over your heart in respectful silence.
Uniformed military members wearing their cover (hat) would salute.
Bystanders:
If you are lining up along Pinehurst Road or just on the street when you see the motorcade, you should remove your hat (if you are wearing one), stand at attention with your hand over your heart in respectful silence until the escort passes. Uniformed U.S. service members wearing their cover (hat) would salute.
