Tropical Storm Andrea Drenches Deputies at Dunedin Causeway
Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies tasked with directing traffic at a high-traffic construction area in Dunedin continued their duties despite heavy rains Thursday.
Heavy rains didn't stop Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies from directing traffic at one of Dunedin's busiest intersections Thursday morning.
The traffic light at Curlew Road and Bayshore Boulevard was flashing red early morning June 6, as Tropical Storm Andrea, the season's first named storm, brushed past the Tampa Bay region.
The light at the intersection was turned to a flashing red in late May for planned $2-million pipe replacement project that is expected to run through the end of June.
