2 Women Injured By Handgun During Argument That Turned Violent

A 34-year-old woman has been charged with aggravated battery after being accused of shooting another woman during an argument.

LARGO, FL — A 34-year-old woman has been charged with aggravated battery after being accused of shooting another woman during an argument.

According to Largo Police, at 01:28 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Imperial Palms Court for a report of two women with gunshot wounds.

An investigation showed two women had gotten into a verbal fight that turned violent, and both received wounds from a handgun that are not life-threatening.

One of the women, Michelle Ladon Cooper, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, causing great bodily harm.
