78-Year-Old Largo Man Accused Of Molesting 2 Children

LARGO, FL — The Largo Police Department recently investigated two molestation allegations involving the same subject with two different victims.

The first investigation resulted in a lewd or lascivious molestation with a victim under 12 charge and a lewd or lascivious exhibition charge against Dudley H. Thomas, 78, of the 8000 block of Bridal Path was arrested on Oct. 11 on both charges. This case involved one victim.

Before the initial investigation, another alleged victim was identified. As a result of the second investigation, detectives arrested Thomas on Oct. 15, and charged him with lewd or lascivious molestation against a victim under 12.

Thomas is not employed and does not have any known positions that afford him contact with children. He has been released from jail on $50,000 bail.
