City Of Largo To Remember Fallen On Memorial Day
The City of Largo in honoring those who have lost their lives while fighting for the nation at a Memorial Day ceremony.

LARGO, FL -- The City of Largo in honoring those who have lost their lives while fighting for the nation at a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 27 at 7 p.m. in Largo Central Park's Military Court of Honor, 101 Central Park Drive.
This evening will include a color guard presentation, music, a wreath presentation in remembrance of fallen soldiers and keynote speaker the Rev. Fr. Robert “Bob” Swick.
Father Bob served in the United States Marine Corps where he was active duty for more than years and earned a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He is the chairman and CEO of the Tampa Bay Veterans Alliance and he serves locally as a missionary to veterans throughout Tampa Bay.

This free event is sponsored by Serenity Gardens and was organized by Largo’s Memorial Day Planning Committee.
Additionally, the City of Largo will host a poolside picnic at the Highland Family Aquatic Center Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents are invited to bring the family and a black to enjoy their own picnic basket by the pool during this Memorial Day session. Splash's Snack Bar will be open as well. The cost is $12 per person or $24 for a group of up to five.
