City Offers Free Shredding, Recycling Event
Residents can bring up to five file boxes of paper per car to be shredded and recycled.
LARGO, FL – Spring cleaning and the end of tax season sometimes turns up old documents that need to be disposed. The City of Largo can help take care of these files safely and securely.
The city will host ShredFest, the free paper shedding event, on Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m. to noon at Largo’s Starkey Road Collection Center, 1551 Starkey Road.
The event allows residents to bring their personal documents to be securely shredded and recycled. Staples, tape, paper clips and rubber bands do not need to be removed from papers. Attendees can bring up to five file boxes of paper per car to be shredded and recycled.

ProShred will be providing secure document shredding services on site and will recycle all shredded paper. File boxes will be collected and recycled by the city.
