Free Adoptions for Fathers at Animal Services
The organization is celebrating Father's Day with the special event.

LARGO, FL – Pinellas County Animal Services is celebrating Father’s Day by helping dads around the county find the best pet for their family.
Pinellas County Animal Services will be open on Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adoption fees will be waived for all fathers who adopt a pet during the event. Also, every pet that’s adopted will go home with a bag of food and a surprise treat.
All adoptable dogs and cats will be ready to go out the door with a medical checkup, spaying or neutering, vaccinations, internal and external parasite control, heartworm tests, feline leukemia testing and microchipping already taken care of. These services usually cost $200.
Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure the right pet goes home with the right family.
