Largo Commission Celebrates Citizens' Academy Class

From The Largo City Commission: The Largo City Commission celebrated the Citizens' Academy of Largo Class of 2019 graduation at the December 3, 2019, meeting. Florida Representative Chris Latvala also attended to congratulate the class. Each year, participants are given a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to build the community of choice in Tampa Bay as they meet and interact on a weekly basis with the team members dedicated to providing superior services that inspire community pride. This year's class was the 19th Academy class and included tours and demonstrations at the Largo Police Department, Largo Public Works Complex, Fire Station 41, Wastewater Reclamation Facility, Recreation, Parks and Arts facilities and more.
