Largo LongHorn Steakhouse Employee Wins National Award
Only four people out of 28,000 nationally were selected for the honor.

Largo LongHorn Steakhouse employee Enrique Silva-Santos has a good reason to smile.
The culinary team member at the 5375 East Bay Drive steakhouse was recently named a recipient of the chain’s Team Member of the Year Award. The honor was bestowed on only four employees out of 28,000 nationwide this year.
The award is meant to honor those employees who “consistently demonstrate outstanding results by providing LongHorn guests with expertly grilled steaks and a memorable dining experience,” a press release about the award said.

Silva-Santos was selected for the honor because of his “ongoing commitment to LongHorn and its people – team members and guests alike,” the release said. A long-term employee, he has helped more than 30 fellow team members achieve promotions through his expert training.
“His passion for LongHorn is so great, he encouraged two of his brothers to work at the restaurant, as well – dedicating a combined 42 years of experience to the company between the three siblings,” the release said.

Local management says Silva-Santos is a valuable member of the team.
“Enrique is a phenomenal employee and very deserving of the Team Member of the Year award,” Craig Kiesel, Managing Partner of the LongHorn Steakhouse in Largo, was quoted as saying. “He puts a tremendous effort into every dish he prepares, ensuring it is perfectly grilled to exceed each guest’s expectations.”
