Largo Middle School is currently on a schoolwide lock-down while police search for an armed suspect using K9s and a police helicopter.
LARGO, FL -- Largo Middle School is currently on a schoolwide lock-down while police search for an armed suspect using K9s and a police helicopter.
The lock-down may be related to a crash that occurred near Largo Central Park a couple of hours ago. Largo and Clearwater Police are searching for one of the two occupants of the car.
Clearwater Police were called to reports of an armed person at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28.

The suspect and another left the scene on Woodlawn Oaks Avenue in Clearwater prior to the arrival of police.
