Lutz, Largo Residents Claim $2M Each In Mega Millions Drawing

TALLAHASSEE, FL — Two Tampa Bay men are rolling in the dough after each claimed $2 million prizes in the Florida Lottery's Mega Millions drawing.

Robert Crabtree, 36, of Largo, and Heriberto Reyes, 47, of Lutz, claimed their prizes from drawings held Jan. 12 and 19 through a secured drop box at the Tampa district lottery office.

The winning tickets matched all five of the white ball numbers, but did not match the Mega Ball.

Crabtree purchased his Quick Pick winning ticket at MD Oriental Market, 7580 49th St. N. in Pinellas Park.

Reyes purchased his Quick Pick winning ticket at Publix, 16560 N. Nebraska Ave. in Lutz.

Each retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning tickets.

Since joining Mega Millions in 2013, the game has generated more than $650 million for education in Florida, and has awarded more than $719.5 million in prizes to 55.2 million players.
