Man Assaulted Tattoo Artist, Client, Largo Police Say
A St. Petersburg man was charged with two felonies and a pair of misdemeanors following an incident at a Largo tattoo parlor this month.

A St. Petersburg man was arrested and charged with two felonies and a pair of misdemeanors after he allegedly got into a fight at a Largo tattoo parlor earlier this month.
Sean Michael Mahin, 31, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, both felonies, plus simple battery and resisting an officer without violence after he allegedly attacked a tattoo artist and another victim May 17.
According to a Largo Police report, the first victim was getting a tattoo at 7500 Ulmerton Rd. when Mahin started a physical confrontation with the person, forcefully pushing the back of the victim's head, before leaving the parlor.

Mahin soon returned wielding a knife, which he swung in the victim's direction and stated, "I'm going to slit your ... throat," according to the report.
The tattoo artist tried to intervene, at which time Mahin is accused of assaulting that person as well as the original victim, the report states.

Largo Police officers arrived and arrested Mahin.
During the arrest, authorities say Mahin was extremely belligerent and uncooperative, swearing at the officers and twisting his hands and body in an attempt to avoid being placed in handcuffs.
That behavior led to the resisting an officer without violence charge, a misdemeanor.
Pinellas County Jail records show Mahin was released on his own recognizance on May 18.
