Motorcyclist Critical Following Accident While Speeding On US 19

A motorcyclist is in critical condition following an accident in the 17000 block of southbound U.S. 19 Monday.

LARGO, FL — A motorcyclist is in critical condition following an accident in the 17000 block of southbound U.S. 19 Monday.

Largo police were called at 6:33 p.m. Witnesses said the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control and crashed into an Audi SUV.

The accident shut down U.S. 19 for three hours.
