LARGO, FL —Beachgoers around Pinellas County can now check the capacity of beaches before they go with a new tool launched by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. The online tool provides real-time updates on the capacity of beaches, beach parking lots and bridges. It launched May 8.
It also lets Pinellas County residents know if beaches are filled to maximum capacity and whether they are closed.
