Hurricane Dorian has left widespread damage in the Bahamas and residents there are in dire need of food and supplies. The Pinellas County Housing Authority (PCHA) is participating in disaster relief efforts to aid in the country’s recovery.

The PCHA is seeking the community’s support by providing donations of relief supplies. Beginning today through September 30, PCHA is collecting critical items such as:

Canned Goods/Non-Perishable Foods

Diapers

Personal Hygiene Kits

First Aid Items

Cleaning Items

Tarpaulins

Solar-Powered Chargers

PCHA is not collecting monetary donations or donations of clothing.

Drop-off locations

Pinellas County Housing Authority, 11479 Ulmerton Road, Largo, Florida

East Lake Club Apartments, 150 E. Lake Club Drive, Oldsmar, Florida

Monday thru Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Fridays, 8:00am to Noon

We encourage all community residents and partners to provide anything they can to help with the relief efforts.

The PCHA provides housing opportunities for nearly 8,500 county individuals by utilizing public and private funding. PCHA’s focus is on providing affordable housing through the development, ownership, and management of properties and administration of rental subsidies.
