Speed Limit Trailer on West Bay Drive
A local business owner hopes the trailer will help curtail speeding on the busy downtown Largo road.

A trailer that posts driver speed limits is now sitting on the north side of West Bay Drive.
The trailer was requested at the last City Commission meeting by Wandering Star Gallery owner Tanya Pistillo.
"I'm not one to complain but it does affect our business with people driving so fast through here," Pistillo told Patch.
"Not to mention it endangers the safety if our customers."
Pistillo was prompted to ask for help with the problem of cars speeding down this area of West Bay after she recently witnessed a man jump the curb in front of her shop because he was texting and the traffic had stopped in front of him.
She was worried that the incident could've been far worse had there been pedestrians in the way.
"It's scary to think what might have happened had there been people around," she said.
Pistillo said Largo PD dropped the trailer off Tuesday morning. They did not tell her how long it will remain at the location.
