Ulmerton Road Walmart Expected to be Complete by Year's End
The world's largest retailer plans to build three stores in Largo including a Neighborhood Market at Ulmerton and Starkey roads by the end of the year.
A Walmart Neighborhood Market planned at Ulmerton and Starkey Roads is expected to be built by end of the year.
Officials discussed the development of the 11-acre property at 9020 Ulmerton Road during a preconstruction meeting May 15.
Plans include using 6.74-acres for the 41,180 square foot Walmart Neighborhood Market grocery store. The site will also include a Wawa gas station as well as a retail plaza and bank.

The world’s largest retailer plans to build a Supercenter at Roosevelt and U.S. 19 before the end of 2013. Another Supercenter, to replace the existing Missouri Avenue store is expected to be complete in 2014.
