Woman Shot Dead At Ocala Walmart: Police
The woman was shot dead in the Walmart's garden center on Saturday, police said.
OCALA, FL — A woman was killed in a shooting at an Ocala Walmart on Saturday, police said.
According to police, the incident started out as a domestic argument between a man and a woman in the store's garden center. The woman screamed for help inside the store and Walmart employees called 911 and attempted to intervene.
Police say the man shot the woman and fled the scene. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspected shooter was identified as a 55-year-old man and is in custody. The man suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound but is alive and was taken to a local hospita.
No other injuries were reported.

The Walmart is located on East Silver Springs Boulevard.
