Casey Anthony Questioned Again If She Killed Daughter
In the 2014 deposition, Casey Anthony also denied knowing her lawyers were suggesting on the news that meter reader Roy Kronk killed Caylee.

ORLANDO, FL — Casey Anthony was asked directly if she had killed her daughter and if she directed her legal team to run a media smear campaign against Roy Kronk, the man who found the remains of 2-year-old Caylee in the woods. The Aug. 28, 2014 deposition, obtained by WESH, is part of Kronk's accusation of defamation against Anthony.
Kronk, a meter reader, has been trying to sue Anthony for five years, WESH reports, on the accusation that she and her attorneys, Jose Baez and Andrea Lyon, damaged his reputation by suggesting he was involved in Caylee's death. He claimed he was damaged emotionally and financially.
On NBC's Today Show, in 2009, Baez and Lyon suggested just that in not-so-subtle terms. "The more I think about it the more my gut's telling me he had something to do with it,” Baez said.

Lyon, who later quit Anthony's legal team over financial matters, said to the Today Show about Kronk, "He's the only one who has been with the body. He is the only who magically discovers it. He takes a day off the day before he discovers it again in December," WESH reports.

In the deposition, Anthony was being questioned by Howard Marks, Kronk's attorney, with attorney Cheney Mason at her side.
She denied having agreed to let her attorneys come up with strategies for her defense. When Marks asked "Did you ever object to any strategies that your attorneys were doing?” Mason responded, saying "I instruct you not to answer," WESH reports.
Anthony later testified that she "never knew the content of what was said" by her attorneys. "All I knew is that they may or may not have talked on this show or to this paper. That's it," she said.

Marks: "Do you admit that your lawyers tried to portray Mr. Kronk as someone who killed your daughter?"
Anthony: "I'm not making that admission, no, sir. I don't believe that's what they were doing."
Marks: "You would agree with me that if somebody is alleged to have killed a child, or murdered a child, that could hurt that person's reputation."
Anthony: “Yes, sir.”
Marks: "Did you understand that your attorneys were trying to change the negative publicity about you?"
Anthony: "I'm aware that they were speaking to the media to some degree but what their intention was, I can't answer to that."
WESH reported Marks asked Anthony quite bluntly "Do you admit you were involved in the death of Caylee Marie?" Mason responded again, saying “I’ll very clearly state, she denies admission.”
Anthony's legal team instructed her not to answer any questions "regarding any knowledge she has or does not have about the death of her child," Mason said in the deposition.
