Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill and Florida Citrus Sports Celebrate Grand Reopening of Renovated Lake Lorna Doone Park

July 1, 2021 – ORLANDO, FL – Today, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill and Florida Citrus Sports celebrated the grand reopening of newly renovated Lake Lorna Doone Park. 

Located next to Camping World Stadium in the West Lakes neighborhoods, the 12-acre park has been renovated into a space where residents can gather to exercise, play, relax and connect to create community. Lake Lorna Doone Park is now home to the first inclusive playground for use by children of all abilities and water spray splash pad area at a City of Orlando park. Improvements to the park also include a walking loop and the installation of fitness stations, a pavilion and two basketball courts.
