2. The old CityArts Factory in downtown Orlando was recently purchased by a New York-based company called Positively Pine Street LP. It sold for around $5 million and plans for the building have yet to be revealed to the public. (Bungalower)

4. More than 30 people were recently arrested or wanted on racketeering charges as part of a Central Florida crackdown on gang activity, according to Orange County Sheriff John Mina. The operation began last year after what was described by the sheriff as gang shootings. (Orlando Sentinel)
