Canova Beach is located in Indian Harbour Beach - it is known not just for it's beautiful beach but also because it is a dog friendly beach. Leashed dogs with proper tags and vaccines can enjoy the waves with their owners. Canova is open from 7am to 7pm.
This gorgeous fine sanded beach is a doggie paradise; owners are welcome to plant an umbrella in the sand and enjoy the day with their pooch. Canova is the only dog friendly beach in Brevard County so it can get quite busy!
Like any dog park, it is a good rule of thumb that aggressive or non-fixed (unneutered or non-spayed) dogs steer clear of other dogs. Fortunately Canova is big enough for dogs that need their own space to have it.

There is a doggie shower to clean sand off as well - along with public restrooms and parking.
Additionally, please respect the beach and be sure to clean up after your pooch. There are pet waste bags available and receptacles to put them in.
