2. Tourism is rebounding on International Drive as the pandemic winds down. In April 2021, the tourism tax revenue was $17.1 million, compared to $10 million in February. (Spectrum News 13)

A Central Florida restaurant called Reececliff Family Diner was criticized for posting a sign decrying “government handouts” after it was revealed they are among the recipients of a Paycheck Protection Program loan to help during the coronavirus pandemic shutdowns.
