NFL Hall Of Famer Opening Orlando Action Park

ORLANDO, FL - From Launch: Mixing sports and entertainment, Launch – a year-round, family entertainment and action park co-founded by three-time Super Bowl champion and NFL Hall of Famer Ty Law – is headed to Orlando.

The new 50,000 square foot facility will be located in the Waterford Towers Shopping Plaza at 610 N. Alafaya Trail and is slated to begin construction in the Spring. It will be the first of as many as 10 parks the Rhode Island-based franchise hopes to open throughout Central Florida over the next several years. Other cities being targeted as part of the regional expansion plans include: Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater, among others.

Launch already has one park open and operating in South Florida, in Doral, and another slated to open in West Palm Beach this summer.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for Launch, as we continue to expand our footprint across not only Florida, but the entire country,” said Launch co-founder and CEO Rob Arnold. “Even if a family has been to other action parks before, Launch separates itself from the rest. Our focus is on family entertainment, fitness and safety. We make it a lively atmosphere for everybody.”

Founded in 2012, Launch provides children and adults of all ages with endless fun. The family entertainment and action parks include wall-to-wall, inter-connected trampolines with angled trampoline walls, as well as signature trampoline courts dedicated to dodgeball and slam dunk basketball.

The new park in Orlando will also feature a ninja course, laser tag arena, zip line, full redemption arcade that will include virtual reality games, and the first-ever Launch bowling alley with a beer and wine bar. Krave, an in-house restaurant concept, will allow guests to make their own pizza creations fresh to order, as well as ice cream sundaes, offering an interactive and delicious dining option.

“It’s no secret that indoor trampoline parks have become a significant contender in the family entertainment industry, but we’re more than just a trampoline park,” said Law. “With a variety of activities available, we’re bringing new things to make it interesting for people, offering plenty to do for first timers and enough variety to keep the thrill going for returning guests.”

Launch’s primary target market is families with children ages 4-14, but they don’t stop there. They also target high school and college students, as well as other adults. The parks are the perfect social gathering place for birthday parties, date night, family events, corporate events, fundraisers or just friendly get-togethers in a safe and enjoyable environment.

The local expansion plans come at a time when Launch continues to rapidly expand its national footprint. Today, there are 28 locations open and operating in 13 states, with an active growth pipeline of 30+ actions parks in development in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia.
