Ring In The Holidays At Orlando’s Annual Tree Lighting
Central Florida residents and visitors are invited to ring in the holiday season.
WHAT: Central Florida residents and visitors are invited to ring in the holiday season and help countdown to the lighting of the City of Orlando’s 72-foot Christmas tree at Lake Eola Park’s Washington Plaza on Friday, December 6, 2019 starting at 5:30 p.m.
For the first time, the Lake Eola Christmas Tree’s 160,000 animated LED lights and the park’s LED lighting decorations will be powered by 100 percent renewable energy, furthering Mayor Dyer’s goal of powering the city with 100 percent renewable energy by 2050.

The event will include holiday performances at the Walt Disney Amphitheater, food trucks and a holiday market, and an opportunity to meet Santa until 9 p.m. at the Eola House.
GIVE: The Salvation Army will be at the event with their classic red kettles collecting monetary donations. Donations will supply toys for children in need this holiday season.
