Top Israeli Research to be Shared at Doctors for Israel Event
Supporters of JNF-USA's Doctors for Israel will gather virtually to hear about the latest in Israeli health-tech accomplishments

Jewish National Fund-USA’s (JNF-USA) Doctors for Israel will host “Sonovia Tech of Israel Tackles COVID-19 Protection,” a virtual program presented by the JNF-USA Northern Florida region on January 24, 2021, in support of the land and people of Israel showcasing leading Israeli scientific research that can save the lives of countless medical professionals and the broader public in the fight against COVID-19.
The event will feature guest speakers Liat Goldhammer and Ben Hajaj, the Chief Technology Officer and the Sales and Marketing Specialist for Sonovia Tech, respectively. Sonovia Tech is an Israeli startup that has developed advanced antimicrobial textiles used in personal protective equipment (PPE) critical to protecting healthcare workers during the pandemic. Goldhammer and Hajaj will explain how their work also furthers JNF-USA’s work in several key areas, including their Go North initiative, clean water focus, research and development, and even work with Nefesh B’Nefesh in employing new olim, Hebrew for “new immigrants”.
