Truckers Line Up Vehicles To Help Man On Edge Of Orlando Bridge
Truck drivers pulled their tractor trailers under an overpass in Orlando to keep a man from severely injuring himself if he jumped or fell.

ORLANDO, FL - All lanes on the Florida Turnpike are back open as Orlando police talked a man off the Kirkman Road overpass bridge above the turnpike Tuesday afternoon. FHP said that truck drivers pulled their tractor trailers under the overpass to keep the man from severely injuring himself if he jumped or fell.
The incident had halted traffic on the turnpike, both northbound and southbound lanes.
About 1:30 p.m., the man was seen standing on the edge of the bridge facing traffic about 1:20 p.m. He had climbed over the caged walkway on Kirkman, the Orlando Sentinel reported. Kirkman Road’s southbound traffic was also halted. FHP reported that the "distressed" man came off the bridge on his own.

Once again, we want to thank these truck drivers, who lined up their rigs on the Turnpike under the overpass while OPD Crisis Team members worked to successfully talk the man down safely. pic.twitter.com/hSEbw17D3y
