Universal's Volcano Bay water theme park is set to open May 25 in time for the hot summer season.

ORLANDO, FL — Water park lovers chomping at the bit for the opening of Universal’s new Volcano Bay don’t have much longer to wait. The new water-based theme park is set to open May 25 with new pricing details released recently.

According to the park’s website, one-day entry into Volcano Bay will cost $67 for adults and $62 for children. The pricing is a bit higher than other water parks, such as Tampa’s Adventure Island, which offers one-day passes for guests ages 3 and up for $54.99.

Once open, Volcano Bay will be Universal Orlando’s third theme park.
