Veteran broker Tommy Pinel joins Colliers Land Service team
Pinel joins the firm's Central Florida office, bringing with him more than 35 years of experience

ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 8, 2020) – Colliers International has hired veteran broker Tommy Pinel MAI as Director of Land Services in the Central Florida office. Pinel has more than 35 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, valuation and advisory services, and will work with Trevor Hall, Managing Director of Land Services.
“Having known Tommy professionally for 35 years, I knew he would be the perfect fit to grow our land services team in Central Florida,” Hall said. “He’s very well connected in the area and has a deep expertise in land brokerage and appraisal that will help us grow the practice and serve our clients well.”
Pinel spent the last several years on the brokerage side of commercial real estate, working both at Cushman & Wakefield and Taylor & Mathis. During this time, he focused on office investments and leasing, along with land sales, offering guidance for seller dispositions and buyer site selection.

He has extensive experience throughout the Orlando area and the state of Florida in office, industrial, retail, development land, citrus real estate and a variety of other agricultural and agribusiness related niches.
Pinel is a Florida-certified General Real Estate Appraiser and has earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. He is also a member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

“Working in multi-disciplinary land sales, you come across all types of deals – from retail and office to multi-family and industrial,” Pinel said. “Colliers is backed by a team of experts in all of these disciplines and promotes a collaborative environment where brokers across disciplines work together to better serve our clients. I’m looking forward to bringing this added level of expertise to land owners and developers, while helping them to achieve their goals.”
Colliers’ Central Florida Land Services team works with land owners around the greater Orlando area to determine the highest and best use for a property, and works with developers to find space that meets their needs. In addition to raw acreage, the team works with buyers and sellers in the sale of “covered land” where adaptive reuse and redevelopment opportunities exist.
