SpaceX launched Bangladesh's Bangabandhu satellite on Friday. .

CAPE CANAVERAL, FL — SpaceX launched the Bangabandhu satellite into space Friday after a failed launch attempt Thursday. The launch from Kennedy Space Station used the Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket and lift off was just around the time the launch window opened.
SpaceX says Thursday's launch was scrubbed due to a "standard ground system auto abort" a minute before launch time.
The satellite, Bangabandhu, was developed by Bangladesh and will be operated by the Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited. Bangabandhu will provide communication services for Bangladesh and broadband connectivity to the country's rural areas. The satellite is expected to be in orbit for 15 years.
