2015 Sarasota Half Marathon and Relay Results
~Jon Mott takes men's title in 1:11:55 ~Jacki Wachtel takes women's title in 1:25:41 ~2016 registration opens 3/17 with special discounts
A record-breaking number of nearly 5,000 runners, walkers and relay team members from 48 states and 11 countries took part in today’s 10th Annual First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon and Relay, produced and presented by Life Time – The Healthy Way of Life Company.
Overall winners
Jon Mott, age 28 from Babson Park, Fla., won the men’s title in 1:11:55 and Jacki Wachtel, age 35 from New Port Richey, Fla., took the women’s title in 1:25:41.

Division winners
James Harris, age 51 from Indianapolis, Ind., won the Men’s Masters Division in 1:23:51, finishing 14th overall (Note: Masters winner is the fastest runner over age 40). Michael Quigley, age 50, from Lake Placid, Fla, won the Grand Masters Division in 1:24:44.

Women’s Masters Division winners included Georgia Underwood, age 40, Lighthouse Point, Fla., who won the Masters title in 1:35:23; and Terri Swanson, age 55, Weston, Fla. who took the Grand Masters in 1:40:01.
Relay team winners
Team Matt and Mike of Sarasota, Fla. took the men’s relay title in 1:29:03; Team Kayla/Team 22Q13 of Venice, Fla. took the co-ed relay title in 1:29:41; and Team S2 Timing of Bradenton, Fla. won the female relay title in 1:32:46.

2016 registration opens March 17 – special pricing March 17-21
Registration for the 11th Annual First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon and Relay, scheduled for March 13, 2016, opens Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 12 a.m. EST. A limited number of early registrations for the half marathon only will be offered at 55% off full price. With an anticipated sell out again in 2016 and to get the best pricing, interested participants are encouraged to register early at www.sarasotahalfmarathon.com.
