2nd Dose Pfizer, Moderna Vaccine Clinic Planned In North Port

A second-dose vaccine clinic distributing the Pfizer, Moderna vaccines will take place Saturday at North Port High School.

NORTH PORT, FL — A second-dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic will take place Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at North Port High School, which is located at 6400 W. Price Blvd., the Department of Health in Sarasota County said in a news release.

Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available at this clinic.

The Pfizer vaccine will be offered to anyone 12 and older who received their first shot on or before May 29, the DOH said. The Moderna vaccine is available to those 18 and older who are at or past their 28th day to receive their second dose.

A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under 18 years of age and must sign a consent form. Consent forms are required and are available on-site.
