“I wanted to take advantage of the vast repertoire of choral literature written specifically for women’s voices, and I was fortunate to come together with a very talented group of women who shared this vision,” says Elizabeth Goldstein, founder, conductor and artistic director of Belle Canto. “Most of our members were already involved with multiple auditioned music organizations in Sarasota and beyond, yet all embraced the concept and were willing to devote their time and talent to pursue this effort which has become a true celebration of women’s voices.”

Munchtime Musicales is a series of free concerts designed to offer a wide variety of musical genres, including classical, folk, and jazz. The series, which runs from November to April, features open seating. The 2016-17 Munchtime Musicales season will be announced soon.
