Big Summer Golf Card Announces August Big Money Tour Winners

Big Summer Golf Card golfers captured $5,000 in cash and prizes as part of their participation in August’s Big Money Tour, with Jack Carra of Venice, Fla. capturing the grand prize cash award of $1,000. Nine other local golfers were also awarded cash, rounds of golf or golf equipment prizes. To qualify for the monthly prize drawing, each player played a minimum of four rounds during August at one or more of the 19 participating courses.

About The Big Money Tour

To qualify for a monthly drawing, golfers must be a Big Summer Golf Card holder and register at least four rounds in a given month at one or more of the participating 19 courses. Players receive an additional entry into the drawing for each additional four rounds of golf played in a given month. Drawings are held on the 15th of every month for the preceding month and prizes awarded to the winners at a special presentation at one of the exclusive participating courses.

Every month between May and October, five golfers share in $2,500 of cash prizes, a Grand Prize of $1,000 plus two-$500 and two-$250 cash prizes. In addition, five golfers receive prizes ranging from golf certificates for complimentary rounds of golf at participating courses or golf equipment.
