Calling all Junior Golfers: The Golf Academy at University Park Country Club offers Summer Junior Golf Camps

School’s out and wondering what to do with the junior golfer in your life? To give kids and parents some respite from each other and help teach and share the life-long skills and sport of golf, University Park Country Club is offering a series of four-day junior golf camps this summer.

Open to junior golfers ages six to 16, the four-day camps include quality golf instruction, games and daily prizes in a friendly, group atmosphere. All aspects of the golf game will be covered, including full swing, putting, chipping, safety, rules and etiquette. Campers will also receive healthy snacks, drinks, daily prizes and lunch on Friday, as well as one free 18-hole round of golf when accompanied by a full paying adult after 2 p.m.

Participant junior golfers will also benefit of having former South African Open Champion and Assistant Golf Pro Clinton Whitelaw share his skill, knowledge and acumen. The clinics are open to members and non-members.

June 12-14 & 16

June 26-28 & 30

July 10-12 & 14

July 24-26 & 28

Times:

9:00-11:00 a.m., Monday-Wednesday

9:00-11:30 a.m., Friday (skills day)

$140/4-day session, per camper
