As local and state chambers work to grow Florida’s economy from the 17th largest in the world to the 10th largest by 2030, it’s necessary to ensure candidates running for office understand the issues facing Florida and its economic future, the Sarasota chamber said.
The FIPL’s Campaign School & Leadership Trainings provide a comprehensive briefing on emerging local and state issues, teach attendees local opportunities that are available for appointed or elected positions, offer guidance on how to prepare to run for office in the future, and provide training on how to run winning campaigns.
Presenters include state and local political experts, elected officials, university professors, and community leaders.
