SARASOTA, FL — A new ghost kitchen inspired by actor and martial artist Chuck Norris has opened in Sarasota.

Cluck Norris Ass Kickin’ Chicken is a new concept from Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern. Its iconic namesake has no ties to the restaurant.

The company has launched Cluck Norris ghost kitchens across the country, including one operating out of the Rusty Bucket Tavern in the University Town Center area at 257 N. Cattlemen Road.

Coronavirus pandemic restrictions across the country prompted the launch of "ghost kitchens" that operate as delivery-only restaurants out of existing kitchens.

“The idea of Cluck Norris was born to reach guests in a fun, new way, highlighting an area of our culinary ability we feel very confident in,” Jim Sauter, the vice president of Rusty Bucket, in a press release, according to Sarasota Magazine. “We are thrilled to launch this fun virtual brand that will deliver quality, fresh, flavorful chicken favorites, ice-cold beverages and more right to your doorstep.”
